The International Association of Geodesy (IAG) is an international scientific organization in the field of geodesy. It promotes scientific cooperation and research in geodesy on a global scale and contributes to it through its various research bodies.
From 2007 until 2011, the Working Group on 'Regional Dense Velocity Fields' was part of IAG Sub-Commission 1.3 'Regional Reference Frames' which is imbedded in IAG Commission 1 on Reference Frames.
The WG on Regional Dense Velocity Fields is now closed, but it is followed up by the IAG Working Group 'Unified Dense Velocity Fields'.
This web site gives an overview of the results of the WG on Regional Dense Velocity Fields .
