CHECKS OF SUBMITTED SOLUTIONS

DOMES Numbers

The file CONFIRMED_DOMES_20090710.DAT gives the list of CONFIRMED DOMES numbers and 4-char ID used within the solutions submitted to the WG to date (including virtual DOMES numbers).
All these numbers have been confirmed through comparison with the IERS list and the sites used within the IGS (and EPN). The virtual DOMES numbers and their 4-char ID have been checked to be in agreement with the conventions agreed upon by the WG and avoiding duplicates.
Please check this file in case of doubt about a DOMES number/4-char ID or when attributing a new virtual DOMES number of station 4-char ID.
REMARK: If for a specific DOMES number, the 4-char ID the solution disagrees with the IERS 4-char ID, but agrees with the IGS 4-char ID, then the IGS 4-char ID has been used (based on list of IGS stations). The file TOCHECK_DOMES_20090710.DAT gives the list of UNCONFIRMED DOMES numbers and 4-char ID used within the solutions submitted to the WG to date (including DOMES numbers).
Reasons for not confirming a DOMES number/4-char ID are mentioned in the file itself (at the end of each line).

Solution Numbers/Epochs of Discontinuities

To allow the combination of the regional and global solutions, these solutions should have identical discontinuities for the IGS stations (used to tie the combined solution to the ITRF).
The following links show in plot form the differences between the discontinuties in some of the submittted solutions and the IGS discontinuity file.
