Combined EPN Position Solutions

What this is

The EPN Analysis Combination Centre (ACC) produces GNSS station position products by combining results from multiple EPN Analysis Centres (AC). The operational solution is tied to successive reference frames (in accordance with the IGS), but in addition regular reprocessing is performed to ensure all solutions are in the same reference frame. The solutions below are available in the IGS20 frame (or any of its updates, e.g. IGb20, IGc20, ...).

How the combination works

Combination strategy

The combined EPN solution is created by:

  • Collecting daily solutions from all participating ACs.
  • Checking metadata (station information, antenna calibration, etc.).
  • Aligning and combining results across AC contributions to generate consistent station coordinates and covariance information for all stations.

Reference frames

The combined EPN solutions are tied to successive implementations of the International Terrestrial Reference System (ITRS) (e.g. IGb20). A separate page provides tables showing which reference frame was used during which time periods.
