Map of EPN Station Positions & Velocities

The EPN station coordinates and velocities result from the regular time series analysis and are the most accurate and up-to-date solutions for the EPN sites. They are used for the maintenance of the regional densification of the ITRFyy between successive ITRFyy release and for the maintenance of the ETRS89:

Horizontal Velocities
ITRF2020 horizontal velocity field (IGc20 realisation) derived from the latest solution (C2385).
Vertical Velocities
ITRF2020 vertical velocity field derived from the latest solution (C2385). The uplift is indicated red, subsidence with blue arrows.

Horizontal Velocities
ETRF2020 horizontal velocity field derived from the latest EPN cumulative solution. In the ETRF2020, the horizontal velocities are expressed with respect to the Eurasian plate. The Eurasian plate rotation model from ITRF2020 (Altamimi et al., 2023 ) has been used.
Vertical Velocities

The green dots on the map indicate the youngest sites (less than 3 years of observations), which have unrealistic velocities.
